Why Interlaken Tours
Interlaken is compact, but its famous destinations are in the valleys and on the mountains around it. The meeting point and travel time matter.
The sights are not in the town. Lauterbrunnen, Grindelwald and the Jungfraujoch each need a train, bus or cable car – plan half a day or more for each.
The Jungfraujoch is roughly two hours each way by rail from Interlaken. It is a full day, not an afternoon.
Paragliding, boat trips and cable cars depend on wind and cloud. Keep a spare day and book options with free cancellation.

No. They are separate places in the valleys behind the town, reached by train, bus or cable car. Interlaken is the base; the sights are a journey away.
By rail it takes a little over two hours each way, so it is a full day. If you only have an afternoon, a nearer excursion such as Lauterbrunnen gives you more time looking at the view.
No. Interlaken lies between two lakes, Lake Thun and Lake Brienz, and there is no sea. The boat and kayak offers on this site are sightseeing trips, not swimming trips.
